From Wicker to Metal

Today while cruising around Goodwill
I found this lil' wicker basket
Although I liked the handles, I didn't care for the wicker
It had a very sturdy metal frame so
why not take the wicker off and
cover it with hardware cloth?
I started by cutting off all the sides then handles
Then I cut a piece of hardware cloth for the bottom
and using needle-nose pliers wrapped the cloth around the sides
Then I cut 4 pieces for the remaining sides
wrapping each side 1 at a time
 Oh so cute, no?

Yeah, I really like this and definitely would not have been able to see this end result from the wicker. Great job.
