A Lil' Queen Bee

First let me say thank you SO much for all the sweet comments
 last week on the passing of my dog Karma.
It helped me so much and made the hurt a little better.
Ever work on something so small and 
wonder how it can take all your time?
 Welp, last week I worked on this lil' occasional table
that I was hired to refinish for a local shop.
Nice lines but WAY too dark.
I started by removing all 64 little screws attaching the leaves
 64 teeny tiny, itty bitty screws
I then hand sanded and painted it with 2 coats of Martha Stewart's Fossil
I sanded around the edges then I applied an image to the top
and painted it with brown craft paint
 Next, I applied Ralph Lauren's glaze in Tobacco. I like how the glaze
 softened all the hand painting. Then I applied a wax.
 After painting the hinges Krylon's Dark Brown I attached the leaves
 I LOVE how the piece looks ... aged, worn & LOVED

That is beautiful! I love this look, and the table is very unique.

the table came out AMAZING!!!! where did you get that image? and how did you transfer it to the wood ? (sorry if you have already gone over this - I am a new follower!) Pam
