Come On Baby Light My Fire

Howdy, howdy, howdy ...

A couple weeks ago, I picked up this adorable lantern at a garage sale for $1
and today I was able to convert it into a cute nightlight.

I think it looks cute sitting on this cabinet

All I did was take the glass out (carefully), widened the opening the wick comes up threw
(removed the wick) and ran one of those lil' clippy lights you would put in a Christmas village house.
I kinda save those anytime I find em' just for projects like this. I tightened the opening around the
light. Put the glass back and presto, cute nightlight for $1.

**UPDATE** I was asked to show just how I ran the cord, so I took this for you today.
I'm starting to use a watermark app from my phone. That's why this one's different than the others.
You can see that the cord is under the plate that holds the glass.
 Hope that helps : )

I love the color and the patina is ... well, ahhhhhh LOVE !!!

Now it will light up this dark corner ...
