Howdy guys ...
How's your week coming along?
I was excited to show you guys a few pieces that I've been working on this week.
I didn't get to show you guys what I picked up last weekend while junkin'
because it started to rain and I had to rush to get everything in the house
but I picked up these 2 pieces for $27,
not at the same garage sale.
$20 for this dresser ...
And $7 for the chair (rough huh?).
If you caught my last post you know that I washed my new
iPhone 4S in the washing machine. Still having a hard time without it : (
The reason I mention it is I had SO many process pictures
of what I had done. I'm just happy that I had downloaded these 2 off my phone
BEFORE I decided to wash it, lol.
Anyhoo, I've been bustin' my hiney on em' and here's what they look like today ...
The dresser ...
And the chair, although I still need to do trim on it and replace the cushion.
Just not quit sure how I want the cushion to look yet.
I'm thinking if I can make a down cushion instead of foam it would be better.
I like how it looks with our other chair
I just noticed to that this one says "NEWARK NJ"
and the other says "NEW YORK"
Didn't plan that but I LUVVV it : )
Opinions?
**Update ** I made the cushion and I'm liking it. Thanks to everyone who suggested dropcloth.
You were right. Here's what it looks like now ...
