From a Vintage Chicken Feeder to a Sha-weet Light

Howdy ya'all ...

How's your week coming along?

I thought I would show ya a simple project I knocked out today.

Do you remember in one of my "This Weeken's Junkin' Finds" posts, where I showed ya this
vintage metal chicken feeder that I picked up for $5?

Well, I knew it would make an awesome light.

I had sprayed it with a satin poly spray to keep it's patina.

Then with a $4 hanging light kit from Ikea, an electric screwdriver and bit I had a light.

Now I need to pick up one of these vintage inspired Edison bulbs

Then a place to hang it and I'll have a pretty sha-weet light

Love a vintage chicken feeder! I was at a feed store today, looking up high in the rafters there's a vintage chicken feeder! I asked if it was for sale, she said...oh no, that's an antique! What does that mean?
