This Weekend's Junkin' Finds #17

Howdy guys ...
How's your weekend coming along?
I'm sitting here watching the Subway Series (game between the Yankees and the Mets)
and thought that I would share with ya everything that I found this weekend. Remember how I told you guys how my junkin' has been pretty sparse? Well, this weekend kinda made up for it.

Saturday I found all these goodies ...

First off, I found this trap (I believe it's used to get clams)
for $1. I love taking the handle off these and hanging them on the wall to hold magazines. Also, a round piece of wood for $5. I'm gonna turn the wood into a HUGE clock : )

The best find were all this vintage pillowcases and a runner for $.25 for 2.

A vintage dishtowel and a piece linen fabric both for $.25

An old ladder for $1

This big wire basket for $2

An AWESOME vintage lunch box for $2. Yeah, it's been painted but I probably wouldn't had bought it if it looked like a kid's cartoon lunch box. I LOVE the patina on it. The hint of red, green and yellow that's peeking through the black. The inside is cool!!!!

Next I found this set of Kingston Staffordshire ironstone dishes for $7.
I'm really drawn to blue and white right now

A little stool for $1. Notice how it says $5 then $3? It's good to shop at the end of the day : )

All these kitchen gadgets were $.50 a piece except the sifter which was $1

The table everything is sitting on was only $2.

At Goodwill I found this adorable birdhouse for $1.99. Hoping a lil' birdy family will call it home.

Lastly Saturday I picked up this bag of seed pods from some sort of tree. No one could tell me what they were off of but they were free and they're cool.

Today, after lunch, we stopped by a garage sale,
Goodwill and an antique mall where I found these ...

At the garage sale I found this adorable sugar bowl for $.50.
While putting it away I broke, yep BROKE, the lid. It crashed to the floor : (
Since I was just gonna store it with my ironstone collection, up high in my kitchen,
I just super glued it back together. I was still heartbroken though.

At Goodwill I found this box thingy for $4.99, a bunch of cedar planks for $3.99 and a
vintage tennis ball basket for $2.99

Lastly, at the antique mall, I found this mallet for $5.
It's a GOOD size and pretty heavy.
Made me think of Thor
(my favorite Avenger)

So yeah, I'm thinking my slump might be over - fingers crossed.

How bout' you? Did ya find anything cool?
