This Weekend's Junkin' Finds #20

It's time for another of my junkin finds post. This past Saturday I headed out at 7am (like I always do) and I went my usual route. There didn't seem to be too many sales. Actually, I didn't hit a sale till 8:15. That always surprises me when there's not alot around. I have to keep reminding myself that I live in a transit area. Meaning, it's summer here ... not season. Our season (tourist season) starts after Halloween. So the sales I do get to are few n' far between. 

I even went to the swap market and it was "dead".

Last week I didn't find anything at garage/yard/estate sales so 

I felt thrilled with what goodies I found this weekend : )

I have family that lives in Aurora Colorado.

I have been in the theater where the shooting took place.

All day I have been on edge knowing that NO place is safe.

There are CRAZY people EVERYWHERE.

This Weekend's Junkin Finds #19

Good heavens where did the weekend go?

Why is it, they seem to take FOREVER to get here, then they're gone in two blinks of an eye?

Anywhoo, I wanted to show ya some goodies I found lately.

I didn't really get to go junkin' last weekend because we had some pretty bad rains. I did go out

yesterday but it was REAL hit and miss.

Updating a Lil' Sewing Table

I wanted to show ya a cute lil' sewing table I picked up at a garage sale for $10.

I know, it looks good just as it is but there's just something in me 

that makes me wanna put my "touch" on it.

I always say, "Let's see what THIS can become"

Makin' a Man's T-Shirt Fit

Howdy guys ...

How's your week coming along?

Mine has been crazy. Summers usually are when you have kids.
Last week was kind of a bummer because we had Tropical Storm Debby

 sitting over Florida dumping TONS of rain on us.

Today I wanted to sow ya a cheap alternative to the $25+ t-shirts sold at the sporting stores.

I found this 2XL man's t-shirt at Goodwill for $1.99. It's a thicker cotton but it's SUPER soft.

I have to confess that I'm NOT a seamstress at all. I made this up as I went along.
